Its collections are available to all concerned users. The reference collection includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, general and specialist lexicons. The reading room offers access to publications belonging to the collections of: the General Reading Room, BHU (Humanities), the Journals and the Lending Library as well as the ones beloning to the presented here Cabinet of President Ryszard Kaczorowski, the Last President of RP in Exile. 
The Reading Room offers current magazines and newspapers as well as joint publications collection covering publications of the most important university centres after 1995. It provides free access to these publications.
